Inferior technology was one of the main ten reasons for the fall of Rome. The Romans had some of the most amazing engineering in the earlier years by building strong and useful bridges, aqueducts, and roads. However, as the years went by, Rome's enemies began to have more advanced inventions. The cause of this was reliance on human and animal labor. They never quite found an efficient way to produce goods. This meant that the Romans could not provide for their enormous empire. Inferior technology greatly caused Rome to fall.
