Decline in Morals and Values
Violence made the streets in the Roman Empire unsafe. "Some emperors such as Nero and Caligula wasted money on parties, and they drank until they were sick. There were gladiator combats in the Coliseum where the poor people, the rich people, and even the emperor showed up to watch." Many people watching, cursed while the gladiators fought.(10 reasons for Fall of Rome) There where contests after contests in one day. Of coarse the show would go on even when the floors were over filled with blood. A new layer of sand would cover the old blood and shows would continue.
